Masjid Negara
The modern looking Masjid Negara (National Mosque) makes the statement that Malaysia is an Islamic country. The blue multi-pointed star-shaped roof above the prayer hall stands out. A number of Malaysia’s former leaders and ministers are buried at the nearby Heroes Mausoleum.
- Pray that the Lord would speak supernaturally to the imams (Islamic teachers) and religious leaders here as they study their holy books. Pray that they would encounter Jesus.
- Muslims believe that prayer in the mosque brings them more merit than praying at home. They wash their bodies with water before prayer, but know nothing of the cleansing of the blood of Jesus. Pray for their salvation.
