Rengat
Rajah Lake
A small lake encircled by green grass and chirping crickets is located outside downtown Rengat. It is a surprising recreation area in this dusty town. A few small cafes sit on the shore serving traditional Malay food — prawns, fish, rice and sambal (hot sauce). The setting sun causes the clouds to reflect off the surface of the water and it is a pleasant place to sit quietly and enjoy nature’s display.
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
