Pekanbaru has countless mosques. Five times a day, the call to prayer rings out from loudspeakers on these mosques, reminding Muslims of their duty to pray. This man is working outside a mosque near the market area. The day is warm and the afternoon sun is enough to make anyone thirsty, but he diligently labors to repair the mosque's concrete wall. Unfortunately hard work is not the only burden he carries. Most Muslims are never certain whether God will forgive their sins and allow them a place in Paradise.
Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
