Sultan Abdul Samad Building
Dataran Merdeka is the place where the independence of Malaysia from British rule was proclaimed in 1957. The adjacent Sultan Abdul Samad building dates from the colonial era and now houses the High Court and Justice Department.
- Pray that Malay people would experience the freedom that comes through Jesus.
- Pray that the courts would safeguard the rights under the constitution for Malaysians to profess and practice their religion and that this might even extend to Muslim background followers of Jesus.
